International Training Course in the city of Gandia (Spain) from 4th till 12th October.
Hello friends!!! Gandia Youth Council are looking for participants from other countries of Erasmus + Programme for participate in the activities will take place from 4th to 12th October 2014 in Gandia (Spain). The profile of participants will be committed youth workers, youth leaders, volunteers and other multipliers from Erasmus + Programme countries and partner countries neighbouring the EU, and they have to be older than 18 years old. The course will be in English. THE AIMS AND THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS TRAINING COURSE: - Disseminate and inform about the Erasmus Plus program through the cohesion of formal education and non-formal. - Promote the active participation of young people in Europe through lifelong learning. - Promotion of active European citizenship. - Unite the different cultures of the different countries participating in the project. - Provide to the municipality of Gandia and young people from other countries the possibility of promoting the development of a cultural and linguistic diversity. - Promoting tolerance of groups at risk of social exclusion (LGBT, gender equality, religion...). - Promote and defend human rights. METODOLOGY: - Non-formal education. - Space for active participation. - Networking. The deadline is 10th September!!! Gandia Youth Council, It is the entity that for 30 years has been representing more than 50 associations and young people not partners of the city of Gandia to any public or private management. Recently, a statutory modification us recognizes as valid interlocutors of the youth of the region of la Safor-Valldigna with nearly 200,000 inhabitants.

Gandia Youth Council as maximum organ of youth representation, serves as a speaker to express all the concerns of youth, which we put solution through actions ranging from informative lectures in schools and secondary schools on school failure, prevention of drug or against gender-based violence, as well as dissemination of the use of condoms or language promotion campaigns and activities on equality alternative leisure and conservation of our environment.

Gandia Youth Council currently has two technical personnel (one is technical administrative and socio-cultural animation and another holds a degree in psychology), as well as three technical external (an accounting Advisor, a legal adviser and a psychologist expert advice and guidance to LGBT), three people in practices (TASOC, environment and administrative) and eleven managers (responsible for the management of the Youth Centre and the organisation, comptroller and a secretary). Likewise, there is a special regime of volunteerism which has 50 people ranging from professional services to social volunteer work.

Costs

Program activities, accommodation and food are covered 100% by the organizers for the whole duration of the training. The travelling costs are covered for all the participants in the specific limits offered by Erasmus+ conditions, so please, visit the page http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm 100% of visa costs will be reimbursed for participants from Spain by bank transfer together with the travel costs after you return home. The participants have to pay a training fee of 20 Euros, which will be taken from the travel costs when reimbursed.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
