Focus of this Session (8 of 30) of EAC EMPOWER Impact is within Professional Equity: Welcoming Diverse Paths

In this session, as part of the HATE-LESS project, participants will explore how young people can celebrate different skill levels, entry points, and lived experiences within team activities.

Learning Objectives: Participants will:

• Explore how diverse paths, skills, and experiences complement one another.
• Reflect on how inner Resistance and expectations can hinder inclusion.
• Practice respecting individual choices, freedoms, and ways of contributing.
• Exchange strategies for facilitating inclusive teamwork that values everyone's unique contributions.
• Experience how youth can use their diverse paths to bring one shared vision to life. 

Methodology: The training is based on:

• Non-formal education methods (interactive, experiential learning)
• HATE-LESS Participatory video approach
• HATE-LESS Methodological Framework
• Participatory Action Research (PAR) approaches
• Hands-on video creation exercises
• Reflection and peer exchange

About the Full Training Series

This session is part of a 30-week program divided into 6 themes with 5 sessions each. Each session will take place at the same time of the week online. Each theme starts with a train-the-trainer session, followed by a virtual exchange, another TT session, and a VE session, closing with a participant showcase. So the train-the-trainer sessions are Sessions 1, 3, 6, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 26, and 28.
