Training Course
10-16 May 2022 | Torralba de Ribota, Spain
Have you been waiting for an opportunity to explore your creative side?
This project will take place in May 2022 in a rural village near Zaragoza.
Participants profile: Youth workers interested in creative methodologies and community culture. During the practices we will use a small mechanical tool (jig, drill ...) it is not necessary to know how to use it previously, but to be willing to learn how to use them.
Participants have to be active persons and in the mood to work on the creative side. We believe everyone has a creative side, in some cases it is on the surface and in others it is more hidden.
We also believe that this creative side has more opportunities to sprout if the environment is favorable, just like a plant. In Recreando we have been practicing this way of doing for 5 years, focused on mutual knowledge and collective work. We have seen how working from the community and creative level empowers young people, favors the development of skills, teaches them to approach problems from a different perspective, fosters the creation of networks and social links.
In this Training course, we want to motivate youth workers who have a fundamental role in the development and growth of young people. We want to share our experience and approach it with more active and participative pedagogies and where eco-social values are developed. We want to show ways of generating a care environment in these processes, in which trial and error have a place, and where creativity serves as a learning and self-knowledge tool at the same time.
OBJECTIVES:
- Show other pedagogies based on experimentation, sustainability and community culture that serve to develop projects that empower young people and awaken their most creative side.
- Facilitate work dynamics based on trial and error, common work and care.
- Offer tools to help formulate, test, document and evaluate projects related to community culture.
- Promote eco-social values by practicing and by shared spaces for reflection.
- Share examples and experiences of similar projects that serve as an engine for new projects.
- Support and advice in the creation of specific projects during training, that can be developed in the countries of origin.
- Strengthening links and relationships between the participants.
- Design inclusive proposals, without discrimination for cultural, educational performance, social or gender reasons.
