DREAMING THE WORLD TO COME is an international Erasmus + program aimed at people who are, or strive to become, agents of cultural (r)evolution and social transformation. Humans who, with their daily actions, are models in their community and leaders of the awakening and change in the world.
With methods that include, and go beyond ecopsychology, we will connect with ourselves, each other and with the other-than-human and more-than-human world.
We will work with Bill Plotkin’s Nature-based Map of the Human Psyche, discovering and cultivating our four facets of wholeness:
This training course is highly experiential, emotionally engaging, and nature-based.
Practices include:
WHY THIS MATTERS
As youthworkers, we can give only what we have. The quality of accompaniment we can offer young people is directly connected to our own aliveness, authenticity and relationship to life. If we feel depleted, hopeless and disconnected, how can we accompany and inspire the young people who are growing up in these times?
Therefore, cultivating our own humanness and capacity, tending to our grief, our anger, our fear is essential.
Finding hope, purpose and belonging is essential. This is the main aim of DREAMING THE WORLD TO COME.
