DRAW-IN: Drawing Inclusion: Comics for Social Understanding

Training Course

16-26 October 2025 | Tallinn, Estonia

The “DRAW-IN” course aims to create 4–6 comics promoting inclusion, while giving participants valuable experience working, living, and collaborating in a diverse group — gaining both professional skills and shared life experiences.

The goal of the training course “DRAW-IN: Drawing Inclusion: Comics for Social Understanding” is to create 4–6 comics that promote inclusion in society.

A particularly important aspect of the training is gaining experience in working within a diverse, multi-level group, which will itself be a valuable resource for each participant.

We will not only discuss inclusion but also gain invaluable experience of living, collaborating, and spending leisure time together.

Now, a few formal objectives of our project:

● Gain experience in collaborative work within a diverse, multi-level group;

● Create and test 4–6 educational comics;

● Gain experience in conducting educational activities using comics;

● Share your professional expertise and learn about the experiences of others;

● Get acquainted with the ERASMUS+ program and its opportunities for youth and youth workers.

Course Program:

The course program is intensive and includes 4 sessions daily.

Within the program we will cover the following topics: Understanding inclusion and disability; fears and barriers to communication within an inclusive group; youth programs within Erasmus+; YouthPass; education comics - from idea to realization; tips from the experienced and secrets of the experienced.

A detailed program can be found at the end of the info-package.

We want to attract Russian-speaking people, people who find it easier to communicate in Russian, and Russian-speaking communities in these countries to introduce them to the Erasmus+ program.

Please read our infopackage carefully before filling out the questionnaire.
