Training Course
17-26 October 2024 | Avnø Oasis Ecovillage, Denmark
In today's world, addressing climate change, promoting sustainability, and nurturing emotional well-being are crucial for fostering a harmonious and resilient society. Storytelling and documentary serve as powerful tools in this conversation, humanising complex issues, evoking empathy, and inspiring action. However, challenges such as emotional disconnection, psychological barriers, and internal conflicts hinder effective engagement with these issues. To tackle these challenges, our proposed project focuses on harnessing the power of digital storytelling to emotionally engage young people with the urgency of climate change. Through workshops, narrative framing, and emotional connection exercises, we aim to empower young people to channel their emotions into constructive actions and advocacy efforts. The project will culminate in the creation of digital storytelling materials for dissemination via online platforms, social media, and community events, amplifying their impact and inspiring positive change.
During the training, we will create 6 impactful video focusing on climate change, sustainability, and emotional responses. These videos will serve as powerful tools to inspire action and stimulate reflection among young people.
