Training Course

This training course aims to increase competences in developing Youth Exchanges within Erasmus+ Youth Key Action 1.

Youth Exchange facilitate that organisations and informal groups of young people can receive support to carry out projects bringing together young people from different countries to exchange and learn outside their formal educational system.

Erasmus+ supports non-formal learning mobility of young people in the form of Youth Exchanges, with the objective to engage and empower young people to become active citizens, connect them to the European project as well as to help them acquire and develop competences for life and their professional future.

Throughout the course, you will have opportunities to:  

- explore essential aspects of Youth Exchange projects being part of Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ Youth programme. 

- understand quality requirements for Youth Exchanges. 

- understand the main principles of project cycle, building a structure of activities, outputs and a budget of a Youth Exchange project. 

- work in developing Youth Exchange projects in an international context.

- create opportunities for participants for sharing good practices and networking.

  We are looking for participants who: 

- have a specific idea and the willingness to develop and implement Key Action 1 Youth Exchange projects. 

- are professionals or volunteers working in the youth field; youth workers, project managers, youth leaders.  

- are able to communicate in English (it will be the main working language). 

- are directly working (as a professional or as a volunteer) in an organisation or institution based in one of the Erasmus+ Youth programme countries. 

- are able to take part in the entire duration of the training course.

The hosting organization of this offer will organize the accommodation and cover the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Travel reimbursement according to the received grants from the Erasmus+ program, based on the results of the distance calculator supported by the European Commission (http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm)

For travel distances between 10 and 99KM: EUR 23 per participant        
For travel distances between 100 and 499 KM: EUR 180 per participant         
For travel distances between 500 and 1 999 KM: EUR 275 per participant         
For travel distances between 2 000 and 2 999 KM: EUR 360 per participant         
For travel distances between 3 000 and 3 999 KM: EUR 530 per participant         
For travel distances between 4 000 and 7 999 KM: EUR 820 per participant         
For travel distances of 8 000 KM or more: EUR 1500 per participant    

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
