Diving into... Small-scale Partnerships

Training Course

15-21 May 2023 | Pinos Genil, Spain

This training course aims to increase competences in developing Small-scale Partnerships within Erasmus+ Youth Key Action 2.

Small-scale Partnerships projects provide opportunities for sustainable international cooperation and innovation in the youth field within Erasmus+ Youth. These projects have a lot of potential for capacity building and the development of, innovative ideas and concepts of wider relevance for the youth field in Europe.

Small-scale Partnerships are designed to widen access to the programme to small-scale actors and aim at reaching out to grassroots organisations, less experienced organisations and newcomers to the programme, reducing entry barriers to the programme for organisations with smaller organisational capacity.

These actions also support flexible formats – mixing activities with transnational and national character although with a European dimension – allowing organisations to have more means to reach out to people with fewer opportunities.

Throughout the course, you will have opportunities to:

  • explore essential aspects of Small-scale Partnerships projects being part of Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ Youth programme.
  • understand quality requirements for Small-scale Partnerships.
  • understand the main principles of the project cycle, building a structure of activities, outputs and a budget for a Small-scale Partnerships project.
  • work in developing Key Action 2 Small-scale Partnerships projects in the field of youth in an international context.
  • create opportunities for participants for sharing good practices and networking.

We are looking for participants who:

  • have a specific idea and the willingness to develop and implement Key Action 2 Small-scale Partnerships projects.
  • are professionals or volunteers working in the youth field; youth workers, project managers, youth leaders.
  • are able to communicate in English (it will be the main working language).
  • are directly working (as a professional or as a volunteer) in an organisation or institution based in one of the Erasmus+ Youth programme countries.
  • so far have not implemented a Small-scale Partnerships in Key Action 2 within the Erasmus+ Youth programme.
  • are able to take part in the entire duration of the training course.
