Training Course
30 November - 4 December 2026 | Torino (TBC), Italy
The Erasmus+ Programme recognizes the diverse challenges faced by young people with fewer opportunities and implements dedicated measures to foster the inclusion of all young people.
DiscoverEU Inclusion seeks to enhance its inclusion dimension by providing support to participants with fewer opportunities to explore Europe. DiscoverEU Inclusion offers young people who are between 18 and 21 years of age a chance to have a short-term individual or group experience travelling across Europe by rail. If you're eager to explore this topic further and tap into the opportunities offered by the DiscoverEU inclusion action, we invite organisations directly working with young people with fewer opportunities (aged 18 to 21) to apply for this training course.
Don't miss this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with fewer opportunities!
MAIN GOAL
The primary aim of the training course is to equip organisations with the skills and knowledge needed to plan, implement, and evaluate DiscoverEU Inclusion Action projects, ensuring the active involvement of youth with fewer opportunities.
Specific objectives:
- Introducing participants to the DiscoverEU Inclusion Action (its objectives, connection to the Erasmus+ priorities, quality criteria, and budget).
- Providing participating organisations with the tools to successfully plan, prepare, implement, and evaluate DiscoverEU projects with an active role of young people with fewer opportunities.
- Broadening understanding of young people with fewer opportunities, and obstacles they are facing in relation to opportunities/possibilities offered through DiscoverEU Inclusion Action, and to the European Strategy for Inclusion and Diversity.
- Encouraging participants to reflect on European topics and values.
The activity will take place in Turin, Italy, from 30th November to 4th December 2026 (3 activity days + 2 travel days).
This training is open to 25 youth workers and representatives of youth organizations working with young people with fewer opportunities (between 18 and 21 years of age) interested in implementing DiscoverEU Inclusion Action projects.
