Digital Youth: Preparing Youth Workers for a Digital World

Training Course

10-17 November 2023 | Antalya, Türkiye

Join our training to bolster digital competencies! . Be a part of this transformative journey.

Digital Youth Work training project - an endeavor nurtured through years of shared experiences in youth work, youth mobility, and project-funded exchanges. This ambitious project is an embodiment of our collective commitment to digital advancement and youth empowerment.

A collaborative effort from partner organizations and youth institutions, our training aims to hone the digital skills and competencies of youth workers across Europe. The project was conceived to foster a widespread culture of digital inclusion and innovation in youth work, ensuring that new technologies are readily available to inspire young people's creativity and their capacity for innovation.

Our mission is to provide an understanding of the current landscape of digital youth work in Europe and its trends. To facilitate this, we will provide an extensive range of good practice examples and practical tools to nurture the growth of digital youth work. We also seek to encourage the sharing of effective practices in digital youth work and build a connected community of organizations and individuals interested in its development.

Central to our approach is the utilization and promotion of the European Digital Competence Framework (DigComp). We believe that providing an assessment of participants' competencies in the DigComp areas will significantly contribute to the digital literacy of the youth sector.

The training will also guide participants in the use of several digital tools. This practical experience will augment their digital expertise, enabling them to face and adapt to the rapidly evolving digital world confidently.

A significant aspect of our project is to raise the capacity of youth workers to respond effectively to digitalization. We aim to do this by increasing the awareness of managers about the ethical and organizational considerations and requirements of digital youth work. Furthermore, we are committed to enhancing digital youth work planning and developing effective digital youth work strategies.

Lastly, our endeavor seeks to promote awareness of digital youth work to the wider youth work sector, policymakers, and funders at both national and European levels. We believe this project will significantly contribute to shaping the digital future of youth work.

Join us on this exciting journey as we strive to bring about a transformative change in digital youth work. This training course represents a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious project focused on empowering youth and fostering innovation in the digital era.
