DIGITAL YOUTH PARTICIPATION

Training Course

8-14 July 2026 | Braunschweig, Germany

This training course aims to give youth workers and youth leaders space to experience and share digital tools and approaches, as well as investigate new digital youth participation opportunities.

Course objectives:

1. Increased familiarity with different digital tools and what they can offer for work internationally and locally, as well as working with young people online
2. Increased skills and knowledge on digital tools and how they can be matched with traditional methods
3. Increased adaptability in responding to how we work with young people through the everchanging digital world we live in
4. Exploring local good practice projects of (digital) youth participation
5. Sharing of digital youth work good practices,tools and methodologies

Additional opportunity: To network and make professional contacts for future European youth work collaboration.

Costs

Participation fee

To balance the training activity budget, we invite participants to contribute a 50 euro participation fee, which will be deducted from the travel costs reimbursement. In justifi ed cases, participants may request a discount or waive the contribution. Participation fee should not be a barrier to participation.

Accommodation and food

Board, lodging, local transportation and programme implementation costs will be covered upon full participation in the event.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs will be reimbursed based on the actual costs, not exceeding the lump sums based on the travel distances, in Euro:


● 10-99 km - 28 / green travel - 56
● 100-499 km - 211/ green travel - 285
● 500-1999 km - 309/ green travel 417
● 2000-2999 km - 395/ green travel 535


Only justified costs will be eligible for reimbursement. If travel costs exceed the lump sums, the remaining costs shall be covered by the participant or their sending organisation.
Participants may opt for the “green travel” options, which come with a slightly higher travel budget. Please contact the organiser for more information about eligible green travel options.

Participants will be responsible for purchasing their travel insurance which will be reimbursed up to 20 Euro. The organisers will not be able to cover unexpected additional travel costs due to cancellations or delays, if participants will not have travel insurance.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
