"Digital Storytelling and Branding for Youth Organizations" is a training for youth workers to develop digital skills in storytelling, branding, and strategic communication.

Digital Storytelling and Branding for Youth Organizations is a training course designed for youth workers, educators, and youth leaders involved in non-formal learning and youth work. The training aims to strengthen digital communication skills, branding strategies, and storytelling techniques to increase the visibility and impact of youth organizations.

Taking place in Serra da Estrela, Portugal (12 - 18 May 2025), this immersive experience will guide participants through practical exercises, collaborative workshops, and real-world case studies to develop engaging digital content that attracts young people, stakeholders, and funders.

Objectives:

  • Enhance digital storytelling skills to create compelling narratives.
  • Strengthen branding and visual identity for youth organizations.
  • Improve digital outreach strategies to attract and engage beneficiaries.
  • Foster collaboration and best practice exchange between youth organizations across Europe.

Target Audience - This training is specifically designed for:

  • Youth workers, trainers, educators, and youth leaders working in non-formal education and youth organizations.
  • Individuals interested in digital communication, social media, and storytelling for impact.
  • Applicants who are 18+ years old, have a medium level of English, and are willing to apply digital strategies within their organizations.

Learning Methods - Participants will engage in:

  • Hands-on workshops on content creation (videos, graphics, and storytelling techniques).
  • Practical exercises in branding, audience engagement, and digital marketing.
  • Collaborative discussions and best practice sharing.
  • Development of tailored digital strategies for their organizations.

Logistics & Practicalities:

  • Accommodation and meals are covered by Erasmus+.
  • Travel reimbursement is provided according to Erasmus+ distance bands.
  • The training is hosted in Serra da Estrela, Portugal, offering a dynamic and inspiring setting for creative learning.

This training is an opportunity for youth professionals to master digital storytelling, enhance their organization’s presence, and connect with international peers to create a lasting impact in the youth sector.

Travel reimbursement

The travel reimbursement for participants is calculated using the Erasmus+ distance calculator, based on the distance between the city of the sending organization and the venue of the activity. Participants using green travel methods (such as trains, buses, carpooling, or bicycles) are eligible for higher reimbursement rates. 

The reimbursement amounts are as follows per participant:

Portugal : 285 EUR / 211 EUR;

Spain: 417 EUR / 309 EUR; 

Romania/Poland/Croatia:   535 EUR / 395 EUR;

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
