Digital Activism Training

Training Course

20 February - 1 March 2026 | Szeged, Hungary

Participants should expect to dive into an adventure focusing on digital activism strategies and challenges.

Digital Activism Training is an international training course for youth workers who want to navigate the complex digital media landscape and use online tools to promote positive social change. The project focuses on media literacy, responsible digital engagement, and using social platforms for advocacy in line with European values of democracy, human rights, equality, and active citizenship.

The project’s target group is anyone currently involved in working with young people (in any format) or who expresses serious commitment to get involved in the future; from the listed countries.

The dates of the training are 20 February - 1 March 2026, which includes the travel days: the arrival days is the 20th of February and the departure day is the 1st of March.

Costs

Participation fee

There is no participation fee.

Accommodation and food

All costs related to accommodation and food during the training course are provided by the project grant, as long as participants take part in all activities.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs will be reimbursed based on real costs according to the Erasmus+ distance band calculator up to the budget limit set by the Erasmus+ Programme.

Hungary: 0 € (there is no travel reimbursement provided to Hungarian participants)
Slovakia: 285 € (only green travel is accepted*)
Spain: 395 € (green travel is not applicable)
Serbia: 285 € (only green travel is accepted*)
North Macedonia: 417 € (only green travel is accepted*)
Germany: 417 € (only green travel is accepted*)

*in line with the priorities set within the Erasmus+ programme guide for 2021–2027, green travel is defined as travel that uses low-emissions means of transport such as bus or train. therefore, unless it is impossible (e.g. traveling from over 2000 km), participants should TRAVEL BY BUS OR TRAIN.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
