CTRL+REAL – Manipulated realities DECODED

Main Objectives:

• Equip youth workers with practical tools and non-formal education methods to strengthen media literacy, critical thinking, and digital resilience among young people.
• Increase understanding of the impact of deepfakes, AI-generated content, and digital manipulation on trust, relationships, and democratic participation.
• Develop participants' capacity to help young people recognize misinformation, analyse manipulated media, and use AI technologies ethically and responsibly.
• Support the co-creation of a practical youth work toolkit and ethical guidelines that can be implemented in local and international youth work activities.
• Foster international cooperation and networking among youth workers, encouraging the exchange of good practices and the development of future Erasmus+ initiatives.

Profile of participants:

• Have experience and/or a strong interest in media literacy, digital citizenship, artificial intelligence, youth work or non-formal education.
• Youth workers, NGO staff, trainers, teachers, social workers, volunteers or university students aged 18+.
• Be a citizen or legal resident in one of the partner countries.
• Be motivated to actively participate throughout the entire mobility and project.
• Willing to organize at least one local dissemination or multiplier activity after the project.
• Good English.
