Crossroads of Media and Youth Work

Seminar

1-5 December 2025 | Benalmádena, Spain

The "Crossroads of Media and Youth Work" is a good practices sharing seminar that will gather youth workers from youth organisations across Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries to explore how media education can enrich and transform youth work practices.

The "Crossroads of Media and Youth Work" is a 5-day European seminar bringing together 22 youth workers from youth organisations to exchange good practices in media education, learn from each other’s experiences, and explore how media tools and methods can be better used and developed in youth work.

In an era where media shapes how young people learn, express themselves, and engage with society, this seminar creates a collaborative space to reflect, inspire, and connect professionals working at the intersection of media education and youth work.

Objectives

The programme is designed to:

  • Share good practices, tools, and methodologies in media education within youth work;
  • Learn from the experiences of European organisations that integrate media literacy in their activities;
  • Exchange ideas on how existing tools can be adapted, improved, or further developed through cooperation;
  • Reflect on how media education can strengthen youth work practices and empower young people;
  • Build connections and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
