Training Course
10-18 October 2026 | Jastrzębia Góra, Poland
During the course, you will learn the basics of how to lead and support learning in youth projects, with a focus on using creativity in your work.
Objectives of the training:
- To offer the space for participants to exchange their experiences, highlighting challenges in youth work
- To provide participants with tools and approaches to explore and develop their own creativity through hands-on and research-informed methods
- To enable participants to transfer and adapt these approaches into their work with youth.
- To create tangible tools fostering creativity for working with youth
- To offer the space for participants to discover their own creative potential and exchange practices and experiences with their peers from other countries, as an inspiration for improving their activities
- To work on the habit of practising creativity daily
- To promote creativity as a crucial skill in the context of the modern job market and employability
- To create a culture that fosters creativity in participating organisations
Applied methods of work:
In this course, we’ll be exploring creativity in a relaxed, supportive, and learner-centred environment, with no pressure and no judgment. Whether you think you're creative or not, you'll have space to reflect, experiment, and discover new ways of thinking.
After the training course, you will have a chance to practise the skills you have gained by organising and delivering a workshop for at least 10 youths in your country.
We invite you to come with an open heart and mind. During the training, we encourage experimentation, curiosity and mistakes without blame.
The training is based on non-formal education principles and combines methods such as storytelling, drama and theatre-based techniques, creative writing, visual and expressive arts, alongside reflection exercises, creative problem-solving, and self-directed project work, supported by research-informed theoretical inputs.
Profile of participants:
· able to participate in the whole duration of the training (10-18.10.2026)
