We are glad to invite you to join the seminar “Creative Frameworks”. This is a professional development space for youth workers and educators who are often guiding young people through periods of transition and change.

In their 20’s, young people are going through all kinds of transitions. This is when many young people are crafting their professional identities, growing careers, forming their first serious relationships, moving to new countries, and discovering who they are and who they want to become. How do we support them in those periods?

“Creative Frameworks” is a space where youth workers and educators from 7 European countries will gather for 7 days and exchange their best creative tools in working with young people in transition.

You will have the chance to learn new methodologies, practice & connect with like-minded colleagues from different European countries.

STRUCTURE

We will first meet online (24th of August). In 2 hours, our team will share with the participants in the seminar our framework on tranisition and we will discuss what are the transitions that we guide people through.

During the seminar, each organisation will share its best creative methodology for working with people in transition. We will exchange knowledge and inspiration, create new connections, and nurture our network.

After the seminar, each organisation will have 2 months to host a local event and disseminate the results of the seminar.

The organisations that are part of this project are:

Stichting EnvironMental – Netherlands
Association “Creatospere” – Bulgaria
Asociación Cultural ImpactArte – Spain
KALM International Trainings – Latvia
GROMADSKA ORGANISATSIA HARKIVSKA ASOTSIATSIA DLYA AKTIVNOY MOLODI STELLA – Ukraine
Cecropia Hub Amke – Greece
Ukrainischer Verein Mainz – Germany

LOCATION

The seminar will take place in the beautiful Dutch town Ommen (Netherlands). We will be hosted in the youth center house of the Olde Vechte Foundation, which is a home to dozens of trainings, youth exchanges and retreats every year.

The place allows you to connect to nature and be away from the noise of the city. Next to the house, there is a forest, where we could have daily walks and connection to nature. Near the house, there is also a river, where you can take a cold swim (if you are a fan).

The Location is very easy to reach and a 10-minute walk from the train station in Ommen.

You will be accommodated in shared rooms (2 or 3 persons per room). We will share common areas: co-working area, living room, cosy area, and dining area. Bathrooms and toilets are also shared.

The activities will take place in a spacious training room and also outside, if the weather allows.
