Creative Facilitation 1 | Using Creative Arts in Facilitation

Training Course

19 February 2021 | Online, United Kingdom

Working with groups is by definition a creative adventure and the arts can be your greatest ally. In this professional development training you will gain a framework for using arts-based practices to strengthen your effectiveness as a facilitator.

Creative Faciliation 1 is for those who work with groups of youth or adults, as well as for people who simply want to enhance their own creativity. Whether you are new to facilitation or have years of experience, at this training you will experience the power of the Creative Empowerment facilitation firsthand.

Working with groups is by definition a creative adventure and the arts can be your greatest ally. In this professional development training you will gain a framework for using arts-based practices to strengthen your effectiveness as a facilitator.

You will gain a toolbox of easy-to-lead activities designed to bring confidence and creativity to your role as a facilitator for groups of all sizes, as well as a strong sense of what it feels like to have the arts as an ally as you design and lead transformative learning events.

A creative facilitator is able to design a learning environment that is rich in three central characteristics: psychological safety, shared leadership among adults and youth, and a sense of healthy challenge.
