Contact Seminar

Partnership-building Activity

17-19 November 2026 | Iasi, Romania

A contact seminar for youth workers and NGO decision-makers: organisational identity, target group, long-term planning, real follow-up, and new European partnerships. Iasi, Romania, 16-20 November 2026. Fully funded, 1-2 participants per country.

This contact seminar is for people working in youth work and non-formal education who carry enough responsibility to act on what they learn, and who want their organisation to come out of it clearer and better connected.

It is not a training course on a single topic. It is a working space: every session is designed to produce something you take home and use.

Programme

Day 1 - Who we are. Getting to know each other, partner organisation presentations and best-practice exchange. Defining your target group by categories, a demographic analysis of the community your organisation actually serves, and clarifying purpose, mission, values and working directions so that the whole team can use them.

Day 2 - Where we are going. Building a long-term plan with impact: setting objectives, laying the foundation, designing for results you can measure. Then follow-up and dissemination done for real, rather than written for the report and forgotten.

Day 3 - Who we go with. Meeting members of the local community in Iasi: NGOs, public institutions and youth initiatives. Then mapping the room, identifying common strategies within the consortium, and building new objectives and partnerships at European level.

Sessions run 09:30-13:00 and 15:00-18:30. Evenings are reserved for intercultural exchange and informal networking.

What you take home

A clarified mission, set of values and target-group profile

A draft long-term plan with objectives and a timeline

A working follow-up and dissemination method

At least one concrete partnership idea with another organisation

A shared consortium map of common objectives for future applications

Youthpass certificate

Travel reimbursement

Two rates apply. The green travel rate is higher and applies when the main part of the journey is made by bus, train or car-pooling rather than by plane.

Most countries: up to 309 EUR standard, or 417 EUR green travel
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.

Ireland and Spain: up to 395 EUR standard, or 535 EUR green travel

Portugal: up to 580 EUR standard, or 785 EUR green travel

These figures are based on the distance from each capital city to Iasi. If you depart from a city significantly closer to or further from Iasi than your capital, your band may differ. Write to us before booking and we will confirm your exact maximum.

How reimbursement works

Book your travel only after your place has been confirmed by e-mail. Tickets bought before confirmation cannot be reimbursed.

Keep every original ticket, invoice and boarding pass, outbound and return, including local transport to and from the airport or station.

Reimbursement is made by bank transfer after the mobility, once the follow-up and dissemination activities have been completed.

Reimbursement covers actual costs up to the ceiling for your country. If your travel costs less, we reimburse what you actually spent.

Not reimbursed: taxi, Uber and Bolt inside Iasi (public transport costs around 0.80 EUR per two-hour ticket), travel insurance, visa costs, and any amount above the ceiling for your country.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
