Networking event to grow the capacity of youth workers and their organizations to become more sustainable, resilient and better prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the green transition contributing to a more regenerative world.

Connection for Action- Green Skills for a Regenerative Future  6-day immersive experience in the transition village of São Luis. And will be hosted by the Co.Re Rural Learning Center (www.co-re.info).

This 6-day training and networking event is for people who want to enhance their professional development by creating funded projects through Erasmus +. We will grow the capacity of youth workers and their organizations to become  more sustainable, resilient and better prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the green transition contributing to a more regenerative world. 

During the project participants are expected to evolve an application form for the Erasmus +. We will guide the group through the different stages of project creation, visioning, design, implementation, quality management. We will do that with non formal education principles, implementing activities on experiential learning and peer learning, promoting a balance between head, heart and body, soul.

Before the residential activity in Portugal we will have a preparatory on-line meeting where basic concepts and informations will be shared.

After the residential activity in Portugal we will have a follow up meeting to check in the development of the project creation between participants.

Some expected learning outcomes are:

  • Gain knowledge about of Erasmus+ Programe Guide 2023, Get to know the EU Youth Strategy & Youth Goals, the 4 priorities, and the funding lines inside Erasmus + Youth (KA1, KA2) & Adult Education,
  • Practice your skills on application writing: moving from ideas into design.
  • Get to know quality management strategies and good practices.
  • Connect and grow relationships of collaboration with Youth workers all over Europe and beyond to implement high quality projects as a network.
  • Experience the community engagement and development practices implemented in São Luis.

PARTICIPANTS’ PROFILE 

This training is for those committed to becoming part of the organising team of one of the projects under Erasmus+ happening in an ecovillage or other sustainable project that will be organised due to this event. Preferably you have participated in a Erasmus+ event before, have experience in different kinds of projects, or have experience organising events and/or writing funding applications. Moreover priority will be given to people with fewer opportunities and/or part of an ecovillage and other sustainable projects based on rural areas.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and residents of one of these countries:  Portugal, Bulgaria, Spain, Palestine, Sweden, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, Slovenia

TRAINER, COACH, SOCIAL PROJECTS COORDINATOR, ACTIVISTS, PSYCHOLOGIST. AS A TRAINER SHE HAS MORE THAN 1000 HOURS OF EXPERIENCE, MOSTLY WITH NGOS, BUT SHE COLLABORATES ALSO WITH PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
