Project aims to discuss the importance of supporting the actions of Erasmus+ Programme, follow up of Erasmus+ Projects and the EU Youth Strategy trough Media.
The aim of this activity is to support youth workers/leaders in increasing the quality of the Erasmus + Youth Programme and better knowing of European youth strategy within Media and other communication Tools. This TCA Seminar will provide the participants with opportunities to: 1. Critically reflect upon their previous national / international experience(s)by relating EU and media and the impact on young people, organisations and wider community; 2. Increase the understanding of different quality aspects of Erasmus+ Youth in Action such as: active participation of young people, cooperation with partners, intercultural learning, and how to relate this thematic with Media as Programme Support Initiatives; 3. Experience a non-formal learning process and understand how to support young people's learning process in the project trough Media; 4. Improve their project management competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) in order to better organise future applications to Erasmus+ Programme on KA1 and KA3. Idea is to approach Media as a support of Erasmus+ Projects activities and follow up. Is also to approach Media Actors as partners of Erasmus+ Programme and multipliers of projects and to give focus on the communications of Erasmus+ projects in close relationship of Erasmus+ Beneficiary. Trough Media, the activity will have a general approach of debating and get know several models, Like Radio, TV, Written Media, Social Media and Multimedia. The Format of the activity will be a Seminar and relevant Keynote Journalists will be invite to approach the MEDIA Thematic. The Paper of Facilitators will focus in give important inputs about Erasmus+ general overview, Information about Key actions, methodology and procedures about how to apply to Erasmus+ Programme. New VALOR Platform/Dissemination Platform will be also focused during the activity and a new tool from ERASMUS+ to better Dissemination of Erasmus+ Programmes outcomes and impact. Participants will be involved on the thematic by brainstorming, discussing and proposing initiatives/actions to Erasmus+ by developing media strategies to better support Erasmus+ and EU Youth Values.

This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your Erasmus+: Youth in Action NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
