Connected Youth Work: From Non-Formal to Digital

Training Course

21-30 November 2026 | Poland

An Erasmus+ training course for youth workers exploring how to combine non-formal education with digital tools, AI, multimedia and online learning methods to create engaging, inclusive and interactive activities for young people.

Connected Youth Work: From Non-Formal to Digital is an Erasmus+ international training course for youth workers, trainers, educators, facilitators, youth leaders and NGO representatives who are actively involved in non-formal learning and youth work.

The activity is designed for people who want to strengthen their digital and methodological competences and learn how to combine non-formal education with modern digital tools. The programme will explore practical approaches such as storytelling, gamification, project-based learning, visual communication, multimedia creation and interactive online methods, together with the use of digital platforms and AI-supported tools.

The training will focus on how digital tools can support, rather than replace, meaningful youth work. Participants will work on designing engaging, inclusive and participatory learning activities that can be used in face-to-face, online and hybrid settings.

The course will be highly practical and based on non-formal education. Participants will learn through workshops, group work, peer learning, reflection, experimentation and hands-on creation of digital educational resources. They will also have the opportunity to exchange practices with colleagues from different European countries and develop materials that can later be adapted and used in their own organisations and local communities.

The activity is particularly relevant for applicants who already work with young people in NGOs, youth organisations, community initiatives, educational projects or other non-formal learning environments and who are interested in improving the quality, inclusiveness and digital dimension of their youth work.
