Partnership-building Activity

27 June - 1 July 2023 | Prague, Czech Republic

This activity aims to raise awareness of Erasmus+ opportunities and provide space for networking for youth organizations working with youth in children’s homes and/or foster care (with focus on young people in NEET situation).

Background information:

This activity builds on national activities organized in 2022, where experienced local organizations in KA1 projects were connected with ambassadors of children's homes and/or foster care organizations. Based on positive feedback from participants, the Czech National Agency decided to elevate this type of training to the international level.

Aims and Objectives of the Transnational Training Course:

  • to connect experienced organizations in KA1 projects with representatives of children's home/ foster care organization
  • to create opportunities for participants to share good practices and networking
  • to raise knowledge about opportunities within mobilities/projects (KA 1)
  • to establish International partnerships.

This activity is for you if you:

  • have a basic knowledge of Erasmus+ and have read Programme Guide (parts related to KA1 YOUTH) or are already experienced in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects within Key Action 1
  • work in children's home/ foster care organization
  • are organizations/foundations working with subjects mentioned above
  • we also welcome participants from the children´s home who have experience with youth exchange projects and would like to share their experiences.

 We expect to finish the Training after breakfast on 1.7.2023

The Czech NA will cover accommodation for 4 nights (from 27.6. to 1.7.2023) and all meals during the activity.

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

Unless specified otherwise, the hosting NA or SALTO of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
