Conference - JustNow "A Toolbox for Teaching Human Rights"

Conference – Symposium - Forum

1-3 March 2019 | Berlin, Germany

You are working in non-formal or formal education? You are a teacher or youth worker or peer educator? You are interested in human rights education? Join us and learn more about the interactive platform JustNow – A Toolbox for Teaching Human Rights.

The project “JustNow – A Toolbox for Teaching Human Rights” was created in response to internal evaluations and requests put forward by organizations and schools that previously participated in the Model International Criminal Court (MICC) project - www.model.icc.org. The “JustNow“ educational materials will allow teachers and youth workers to apply some of the MICC-inspired methods in the classroom, raising students’ awareness of various human rights and international criminal law issues in the process.

The JustNow Toolbox offers activity plans, exercises and timelines, as well as audio-visual content such as short animation movies, which will help young people learn about human rights, diversity, basic democratic values and the rule of law independently or with the help of an educator. With the innovative approach of small-scale learning modules, this toolbox allows everyone to implement needs-tailored, innovative and engaging educational workshops.

Are you interested in learning more about the project “JustNow – A Toolbox for Teaching Human Rights” and you want to be trained on new methods of teaching human rights?
