CON TACTO - Education in Consent through Contact Improvisation

Training Course

4-11 June 2023 | Covelo, Galicia, Spain

6 day Training Course that offers space for learning and embodying Consent through Contact Improvisation, and for cocreating a Toolbox

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The program aims to explore and deepen in methodologies and to provide
tools for youth workers on how to approach Consent through Contact
Improvisation from a somatic perspective.

Beyond guided workshops, we will be researching together, using CI as a tool
for investigation, in a horizontal, diverse, safe and collective way. We will harvest all the
information and wisdom from within our bodies, and translating it into words,
so we will be cocreating a toolbox for youth workers on Consent and CI.
We will explore it from a balanced approach between verbal and non-verbal communication

We will dive through concepts such as: sensitivity, embodiment, internal
yeses and noes, emotional and conscious state, power and roles, safety and
vulnerability, decision-making, care and mutual support, identifying and
communicating needs, boundaries, conflicts resolution, gender, empathy,
deep listening, etc.
