Conference – Symposium - Forum

3-6 March 2020 | Finland

Street based Detached Youth Work, Outreach Youth Work, Street Youth Work, Mobile Youth Work – Just name it! Come as You Are meeting aims to get together those who work with young people in NEET situation to share their practices and learn from each other.

The main aim of Come as You Are meeting is to give space for Youth Workers to explore a phenomenon behind their work. This 2 working days meeting focuses on issues like

- the principles and values behind the work

- the ways and means of the work

- the realities street outreach youth workers face

- the main issues where young people age between 16-29 need most support

- the services young people age between 16-29 need most in different countries

• Youth workers working with young people in NEET situation as street workers, outreached youth workers etc..

• heads and developers of street workers, outreached youth workers etc.

• heads and developers of municipal youth work

The activity is linked with Europe Goes Local.

Costs

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action / European Solidariry Corps Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

Unless specified otherwise, the hosting National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your National Agency (NA) or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
