Aimed at Youth Workers/Leaders, ideally already working with socially excluded youths, & those at risk of (re)offending/with a desire to do so. If you're interested in learning new preventative methods for tackling this then this is the course for you!
This Training Course Aims At;
- Motivating and inspiring youth workers and organisations with new ideas in order to safeguard young people against violence. Stemming from best practice on a European level, it will result in a renewed vigour and determination in their work.
- Empowering the participants with tools and methodologies which they can use to develop their practical work to great effect; and to the advantage of not only the young people they support but also the wider community they serve.
- Developing a virtual network for future cooperation leading to the increase in the number of projects within the YiA Programme with a focus on those with fewer opportunites.
Target Group;
- Youth Workers, Youth Leaders working directly with young people.
- Those experienced in youth work, either through YiA or other programmes on a local, national or international level.
- Those interested in the topic of combating youth violence and social exclusion.
- Those enthusiastic and ready to share best practises and experiences in the topic during the active and participative sessions.
- Those able to communicate in English.

Costs
The Training Course is funded by the UK "Youth in Action" National Agency, The British Council, with co-funding by the Bulgarian, Finnish and German NAs.
Accomodation and Food will be covered by the project.
Please check with your own NA about the reimbursement of your travel expenses before you apply.
