INTRODUCTION

Climate change is the defining challenge of our time - an urgent, complex, and deeply emotional issue that can easily overwhelm or paralyse us. But games can change that.

By creating safe, playful spaces for exploration and dialogue, climate games allow us to face the crisis with courage and clarity. They break down complexity into digestible, interactive experiences. They make space for hope and collaboration. And they motivate meaningful action.

We believe games are a powerful response to the current challenges.

Are you ready to become a Climate Wizard who uses the power of games to ignite learning, reflection and action across Europe?

FOR WHOM

We are looking for people who want to use climate games in the context of NON-FORMAL EDUCATION (festivals, workshops, youth exchanges, summer camps, extracurricular activities, etc).

Take your time when filling in the sign-up form. We will look at both experience and motivation.

If your goals are more towards FORMAL EDUCATION (schools, universities, etc), then we suggest you apply for the Climate Wizards #2, which will deliver games adjusted to run in a classroom setting. Note that one person can apply only for one of these training courses.

CONTEXT: Climate Wizards is opening a new direction in the training courses of Nausika, after a successful series of 6 Larp Alchemies (which will also be continued).  Thanks to Antonios Triantafyllakis, first time as official trainer in our team, we will play games which have never been presented in Nausika trainings before. See Program below. Some of the games are coming from acclaimed designers, some of them carry a heavy commercial price. In our Training you will experience them for free and later decide, if you or your institution wants to invest in them (we are not selling ;)
