Partnership-building Activity

10-16 October 2025 | Giovinazzo, Italy

Click the DiCE is a 5-day Partnership Building Activity that connects youth workers to explore Digital Citizenship Education and co-create Erasmus+ projects empowering young people to engage critically and actively in the digital world.

The activity will consist of a 5-day international Partnership Building Activity for youth workers and NGO staff who are engaged in youth work and interested in developing future Erasmus+ projects with a focus on Digital Citizenship Education.

The idea of the project builds on the recognition of 2025 as the European Year of Digital Citizenship Education, which highlights the urgent need to equip young people with the competences to navigate, participate, and act responsibly in the digital world. Youth work plays a key role in this process, providing non-formal spaces where young people can develop digital awareness, critical thinking, and democratic engagement.

This activity aims to create meaningful and lasting partnerships among organizations that want to explore and promote digital citizenship through Erasmus+ youth projects. Participants will reflect on key topics such as digital rights, media literacy, online participation, digital safety, and youth empowerment in the digital age.

The Partnership Building Activity will provide space for trust-building, exchange of good practices, and structured networking, as well as dedicated sessions for project planning and design. These sessions will support participants in shaping concrete ideas and collaborative frameworks for future Erasmus+ initiatives. The goal is to generate a variety of innovative, high-quality project proposals that respond to the current digital realities faced by young people across Europe.

Participants will take part in thematic workshops, interactive activities, and peer-learning opportunities. They will also contribute by sharing tools, experiences, and approaches used in their own work around digital youth education.

Among the objectives of this Professional Development Activity, we aim to:

  • Facilitate the creation of strong partnerships for Erasmus+ projects focused on Digital Citizenship Education
  • Enhance the competences of youth workers in addressing digital challenges through non-formal education
  • Promote mutual learning and cooperation among organizations active in digital participation, media literacy, and digital rights
  • Provide dedicated space and time for the co-creation of future Erasmus+ project ideas
  • Support the overall goals of the European Year of Digital Citizenship Education 2025 by boosting youth sector engagement in this field

This activity will contribute to the development of a connected network of organizations working to empower young people as active, critical, and responsible digital citizens.
