Training Course

9-16 April 2012 | Prishtina, KOSOVO * UN RESOLUTION

We are looking for 3 Portuguese, 3 Polish and 3 Slovenian for a training Course in Kosovo. The training course will take place in Pristina (Capital City of Kosovo)from 09th – 16th April 2012
TC aims to support the professional development of youth workers and youth leaders by extending their competencies to integrate elements of European citizenship within their projects and practice and support their role as multipliers with young people Participants will be enabled to reflect about European citizenship, European identity, youth participation, to reflect upon Europe (concept and perception) – its history, integration process, nationality, sovereignty, its relation and position vis-à-vis with the rest of the world, current challenges and tensions. The programme includes workshops, presentations, debates, lectures, discussions, group works, exercises, simulations, get to know and group building games, reflection groups and social activities. Aims and Objectives Reflecting about concept of citizenship, European Citizenship and European identity - Creating a shared understanding of effective youth participation - Exploring different dimension of citizenship - Sharing good practices of citizenship education at local level among different target groups - Creating new partnerships and/or YOUTH projects - Promoting YOUTH in ACTION programme Working methods As a YiA Training Course, the project will be based on non-formal learning tools and methods.

In this case we will coordinate:
Evaluation part (Applications, selections for trainers and participants).
Travelling to Kosovo
Participants will be recommended to travel to Pristina Airport (cheapest available options). Alternatively, the closest international airport is Skopje Airport or Tirana International Airport
Travelling inside of Kosovo
Participants will be encouraged to use bus services within Kosovo in order to reach the venue. Upon their arrival to the city they will be picked up by voulenters or employess of BLINK Association and taken to the hosting hotel, situated approximately 35 km from Pristina main Bus station.
Accommodation
Participants will be accommodated in double ensuite rooms. Organic food will be provided by the hosting place. Most of the activities will take place on the premises.

Costs

Financial rules are as described in the user’s guide of the Youth in Action programme. The organizers will pay for accommodation and food, and 70% of your travel cost. Each participant should pay only 30% of his/her travel cost. NOTE: Reimbursement will be made based on the Youth in Action programme rules and conditions. - Insurance: AKTI will not pay for any insurance (travel/health etc) - Additional stay in Kosovo: If anyone wants to stay at maximum 3 days after the activity in Kosovo, AKTI will help him or her to find a place to stay but they need to cover the costs by themselves.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
