Call for Participants: Interviews for Youth Workers on Eco-anxiety and Young Migrants (In italian)

Partnership-building Activity

27 April - 10 May 2026 | Online, Italy

Are you a youth worker active in Italy? We want to hear your voice and learn from your field experience!

Are you a youth worker active in Italy? We want to hear your voice and learn from your field experience!

We are looking for participants for a research activity within the framework of EcoWellness Recharge, a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

The main objective of this initiative is to explore how youth workers can better identify and address eco-anxiety among young migrants. We also want to understand what resources and practical tools youth workers need to be supported in this task.

We are organising in-depth online interviews online (20-30 minutes), facilitated by an expert from our organisation, to offer participants the opportunity to share experiences and perspectives in an open and confidential environment.

Your professional experience would be an invaluable contribution to this research. The results will be used to:

  • Contribute to a publication that our consortium will release on eco-anxiety among young migrants and the preparation of youth workers to address it.
  • Lay the foundations for the subsequent phases of the project, based on which we will develop new training programmes and support materials.

We are looking for professionals who meet the following criteria:

  • Professional Role: Active youth workers, educators, social workers, or youth leaders.
  • Location: Based and operating in Italy.
  • Field Experience: Professionals who have direct experience working with and supporting young migrants in their daily practice.
  • Thematic Interest: Individuals interested in youth mental well-being and environmental issues, specifically eager to explore, discuss, and learn about the emerging topic of eco-anxiety among young people.
  • Commitment: Willing and available to participate in a 20-30 minute online in-depth interview and to openly share their professional views, challenges, and experiences in a confidential setting.
  • Language: Able to comfortably conduct the interview in Italian (as the specific target for this phase of the research is the Italian context).
