Call for 'ON TARGET' partner finding activity

ON TARGET offers a platform to build future links for organisations and youth workers working with young people from disadvantaged groups. Increasing the youth in action opportunities between the UK and European countries in future co-operations.
We will explore the concept of working directly with targeted groups such as NEETs, those with disability and specialist needs, young offenders, young parents and young people who are in public care. We wish to attract those who use non formal methods, such as creative arts, outdoor activities, sport and media. Bringing together partners who use similar approaches; methodology and practices.
AIMS
To provide a European partner finding activity to forge new links and connections for future youth work projects for specialised target groups.
OBJECTIVES
To bring together organisations and workers who work in the field of non formal education and specialist groups to share good practice.
To investigate, share and establish the definitions of targeted young people.
To create partnership groups and networks for future Youth in Action Cooperation.
To develop ideas, proposals and projects for future partnerships.
PARTICIPANTS:
- Participants working directly with young people who fall into a disadvantaged groups.
- Participants who are interested in the working methods of creative arts, outdoor activities, sport and media
- Participants who are looking for an international partner(s) to organise a future cooperation in Youth In Action Program.
- Participants are at least 18 years of age and are able to communicate in English.
Organisations need to fill attached pre-questionnaire for a successful application.
The application will be open until 28th of December 2012; all applicants will be informed directly after.

Costs
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, food, visa, etc.) are included and we refund 70% of travel costs relevant to participation in the course.
Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
