Challenges on How to Activate New Generation in Europe
C.H.A.N.G.E. - Challenges on How to Activate New Generation in Europe" is 7 days Training Course (TC) with the main aim to promote active participation among youth on local level using creativity and innovation in projects to fight and address discrimination. Training course will empower young leaders to increase their SKAs(Skills, Knowledge and Attitudes)on how to recruit and motivate young people on local level and find the ways to include them in youth NGO activities. TC especially focuses on how to stimulate and increase creative and innovative project proposals initiated by young people for young people on local level, based on active youth participation fighting different forms and levels of discrimination young people face. Participants will also have opportunity to pass thought PCM education with the aim to be able to develop projects in local community, coordinate youth groups and promote antidiscrimination. Organizations will also learn how to do need assessment on local level and address it by creative local initiatives. After the TC, participants expected to use the skills, knowledge and attitudes (SKA) on local involving non-organized youth into the new initiatives. WORKING METHODS: The training will be based on non-formal education methods, encouraging active participation of young people involved, giving space for participants to take an active role, express themselves and share good practices. • Ice-breakers, energisers. • Inputs from experts • Simulations, role plays • workshops • Intercultural and experiential learning • Variety of visuals for thematic input • Brainstorming and discussions both in working groups and in plenary. PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS Priority will be given to those that most closely meet these criteria: • Youth leaders, youth workers active in their organization and motivated /interested to work on the topic • Age between 18-35; • Have an interest in the topic; • Willing to learn & motivated to share experience with others after the event; • Are able to work in English; • Are committed to attend for the full duration of the training; • Ready to put in practice the learning outcomes in local level after the event! Gender balance, group diversity in terms of different social and cultural backgrounds will be taken into consideration. VENUE The activity will be held in CEULAJ(Euro-Latin-American Youth Centre) in Mollina - Spain. YEU looks forward to increase tolerance and awareness between different countries, cultures and traditions, and to promote a greater level of comprehension through the development of youth activities such as; youth exchanges, seminars, conventions, meetings, study visits, training courses, development of educative manuals. Costs

YEU will cover all costs related to accommodation, and 70% of travel costs (cheapest way) from the resident country. Limits given below are 100% of travel costs. DOCUMENTS FOR REFUND: participants are obliged to have receipts of the ticket, boarding pass and invoices of credit card that was used for buying the tickets for online payments. All participants will be refunded after the event by bank transfer. Bank transfer cost will be paid by YEU.
