B²TL is a project aimed at strengthening the role of youth workers—particularly those from rural or disadvantaged areas—in promoting sustainable tourism and ecological awareness for participants from Estonia and 7 other countries.

B²TL is a project aimed at strengthening the role of youth workers—particularly those from rural or disadvantaged areas—in promoting sustainable tourism and ecological awareness.

In partnership with project coordinator Danilo Dolci, AsfarEurope is happy to offer this training course opportunity to youth workers, youth mentors, and wider educationalists/trainers based in Estonia.

By combining non-formal education, experiential learning, and digital tools, the project empowers youth workers to develop and lead social projects focused on environmental sustainability and community development. Based on Danilo Dolci’s Reciprocal Maieutic Approach (RMA), the initiative promotes active participation, critical thinking, and empathy, aligning with EU objectives for climate action and youth engagement. 

Who is the training for?

This training is for youth workers, youth mentors, trainers working in the youth sector and other educators/youth project professionals working in the wider youth sector, education sector, community sector etc. from Estonia, ideally working in rural or disadvantaged areas.

Training course focus:

  • Future of sustainable tourism
  • Sustainable tourism in Europe - tracing national frames
  • Urbanisation
  • Digital communication for promoting sustainable practices
  • Case study: Digital campaigns research
  • Empowering youth for community action and ecological initiatives and campaigns
  • Empowering youth positive actions

All participants will have the opportunity to achieve their Youthpass and create a European Portfolio for youth leaders and youth workers as further evideance of their training experience.

Accommodation and food

The training and accommodation will be held at Borgo Danilo Dolci in Trappeto, Sicily, 50km from Palermo.

Participants will be accommodated in shared rooms, with a maximum of four people per room.


Bathrooms are shared and equipped with sinks, showers and toilets.

Meals included and on-site.

 

Travel reimbursement

For those travelling from Estonia to Sicily, Italy:

Up to 395 euros per person.

Luxembourg to Sicily, Italy:

Up to 309 euros per person

All original and/or digital tickets and documentation must be submitted.
