Building a European Community of Practice for Well-being and Resilience

Training Course

24 June 2026 | online, Belgium - DE

The Happiness in Practice Community of Practice is a European learning space that brings together educators, facilitators, youth workers, community leaders, and adult learners interested in well-being, resilience, and positive social change.

Happiness in Practice Community of Practice for Young Adults

The Happiness in Practice Community of Practice is a European learning and networking space created for young adults, youth workers, educators, community facilitators, and organisations interested in promoting well-being, resilience, active participation, and positive social change.

Developed within the Erasmus+ project Happiness in Practice – Positive Psychology and Community Resilience, the Community of Practice brings together people from different countries and backgrounds who share a common interest in building healthier, more inclusive, and more connected communities.

The Community is particularly relevant for young adults aged 18–35 who are navigating personal, educational, and professional transitions in an increasingly complex world. Many young people today face challenges related to uncertainty, social isolation, mental well-being, digital overload, and the search for meaningful connections. The Community of Practice offers a supportive environment where they can learn from others, exchange experiences, and develop practical skills to strengthen their personal and collective well-being.

Key themes explored within the Community include:

Emotional well-being and mental health promotion;

Positive Psychology and evidence-based happiness practices;

Resilience and coping strategies in times of change;

Social inclusion, belonging, and community engagement;

Active citizenship and participation in society;

Empathy, communication, and interpersonal relationships;

Personal development and lifelong learning;

Creative and participatory approaches to community building;

Youth empowerment and social innovation.

Members can access learning resources, share good practices, participate in discussions, connect with peers from across Europe, and contribute to a growing network committed to creating positive impact in local communities.

More than an online platform, the Community of Practice is a space for peer learning, collaboration, and mutual support, where young adults can develop the competences, confidence, and connections needed to thrive in both their personal and professional lives.

By connecting people across cultures and countries, the Community contributes to the broader Erasmus+ goals of inclusion, participation, well-being, and European cooperation, helping young adults become active contributors to more resilient and sustainable communities.
