Training Course

7-9 May 2018 | Malta

A training course with the aim to support the compilation of Youthpass during youth work activities. Participants will explore methods and tools which facilitate the ‘Youthpass process’ and thus emphasise the recognition of non-formal learning.
The recognition of non-formal learning became more and more important since the introduction of Youthpass in 2007. This Training course aims to provide practical support in facilitating compilation of the Youthpass process and explores means and ways in which Youthpass can be given more weight. Thus as a result the learning outcomes brought about through youthwork can be more easily recognised. What is the aim of this Training Course? The aim is to facilitate the “Youthpass process” and as a result emphasise the recognition of non-formal learning outcomes. What are the objectives of the Training Course? - To develop ideas and practice tools on how to overcome issues with regards to the recognition of non-formal learning through youthpass. - To give practical knowledge and information, whilst developing skills in the compilation of youthpass together with young people, in order to bring about more recognition of non-formal learning. What is the target group of the Training Course? We are looking for youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, project managers, EVS mentors/tutors who are interested in developing their skills and knowledge when it comes to the process of compiling Youthpass. Number of Participants: 25
