BiCycle Project - Final Visit to Brussels

Study Visit

21-24 October 2026 | Brussels, Belgium - FR

BICYCLE brings young people and youth workers to Brussels to explore cycling, sustainable mobility and EU participation through visits, workshops and dialogue with European stakeholders.

The BICYCLE Final Study Visit in Brussels will bring together young people and youth workers from the six project countries: Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain. It will take place from 21 to 24 October 2026 and will be the final international activity of the project.

The visit will be a chance to discover and share the results, experiences and local initiatives developed throughout the BICYCLE project, which uses cycling and sustainable mobility as tools to strengthen youth participation and civic engagement.

During the activity, participants will take part in workshops, discussions, institutional visits and meetings with European stakeholders. They will learn more about how EU institutions work, discuss cycling and sustainable mobility policies, and explore how young people can participate in decision-making processes. The programme will include exchanges with representatives linked to European mobility and transport policies, including DG MOVE.

Participants will also develop their advocacy and civic participation skills, present ideas and project outcomes, and exchange good practices with people from the other partner countries.

As the closing activity of BICYCLE, the Study Visit will be both a moment to look back at what has been achieved and an opportunity to create new connections and future cooperation between young people, youth workers and policymakers.
