Belgrade International Model United Nations - BIMUN

Other

24-27 March 2005 | Belgrade, Serbia

The aim of the conference is to strengthen the co-operation between young people from South-east Europe, but also to provide the participants with the opportunity to exchange experience and ideas.
The conference will provide the participants with the opportunity to experience democracy aspects, such as peaceful conflict management, leading dialogues, making compromises, tolerance, team work, and multiculturalism in a practical way. The participants will take the roles of the UN representatives, represent different countries, and discuss the themes on their daily agenda. The participants will prepare a strategy, resolutions, discuss and solve conflicts following the UN procedures. By doing this, the participants will strengthen their capacities for problem solving, seek for possible solutions and communication, as well as meet new young people and make new friendships.
