3-10 November 2020 | Online during 3 half days: 3rd, 4th and 10th of November 2020., Sweden

This course is in Swedish/Norwegian languages and is only open to participants from Sweden and Norway. The course is organized as a follow-up event of the project Becoming a part of Europe implemented between 2016-2019 by several National Agencies.

The course have been postponed from April to November 2020. The course will be organized online instead of residential.

Due to the unstable situation with the outbreak of COVID-19 we decided to carry out the activity online. The content of the activity will be adjusted and the activity will be carried out in 3 half days: 3rd, 4th and 10th of November 2020.

The deadline have been prolongued so that it opens the possibility to participate to those that previously could not travel but could now participate online.

 

The training course aims at developing the participants’ competences in using non-formal education (NFE) methods in working with, and supporting, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers (YMRA).

We will create a framework in which the participants can explore various contexts and exchange good practices they use in their work with inclusion; And we will equip the participants with concrete tools and methods for working with integration of YMRA.

Moreover, the participants will discover funding possibilities and get the opportunity to network and create partnerships with the purpose of developing future common national and international projects.

Expected profile of participants

The training course is designed for voluntary and/or professional youth workers, social workers, project leaders, inclusion and/or integration responsible, facilitators and other persons or stakeholders working with inclusion of YMRA.

Participants must be at least 18 years old. Expected group size is 20-24 participants

People of migrant, refugee or asylum seeker background are encouraged to apply.

The training course will be in Swedish/Norwegian, without any possibility of continuous translation from one language to another.

Course programme

The course offers a variety of workshops, info-sessions and other activities to improve the participants work with YRMA.
