"Be Well: Rethinking Well-being in Youth Work" Training Cource

Training Course

7-16 July 2023 | Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg

The project “Be Well” aims to equip youth workers and other professionals who work with young people with the competencies and methodologies/practical tools for promoting the mental health and well-being of young people.

The project “Be Well: Rethinking Well-being in Youth Work” aims to equip youth workers and other professionals who work with young people with the competencies and methodologies/practical tools for promoting the mental health and well-being of young people.

The training course is open for youth workers, youth leaders, social workers who work with young people and staff from NGOs and formal education systems as the primary target group.

The project consists of two training courses:

The first residential meeting will be carried out on 7-16 July 2023 (travel days included),

and the

The second residential meeting will be held on 17-26 November 2023 (travel days included).

Both of the training will be hosted in “Youth Hostel” Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg.

- To support the professional development of youth workers/leaders by broadening their critical understanding of the importance of mental health and well-being of youth.

- To empower youth workers and organizations with the competencies, skills and practical tools in the field of well-being.

- To raise youth awareness and transform attitudes toward challenges connected with mental health issues in Luxembourg and Partner/Program countries.

- To create a guide with recommendations and practical tools which can be used in non-formal education and general work with youth.

The participants of the first stage will have a priority to take part in the second phase in November 2023.

“Formation et Sensibilisation de Luxembourg” Association was registered in 2020 on the basis of the non-formal group "Foreign Students of Luxembourg" (FSL) which was created in 2013.
The main objective of the Association is to establish, promote and support social awareness regarding the importance of education with a view to strengthening skills and capacities.

Participation fee

There is no participation fee for this project

Accommodation and food

Food, accommodation and program costs will be provided and fully paid thanks to financial support from Erasmus+ Programme granted by Luxembourgish National Agency - Anefore.

The participants will be provided three meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner and coffee breaks.

All participants will be accommodated in the hostel and 3-4 people will share the rooms.
