This project, "ArtConnect: Inclusion Through Creativity" aims to empower youth workers/ leaders/ trainers to combat social exclusion and discrimination.

This project, titled "ArtConnect: Inclusion Through Creativity" aims to empower youth workers/ leaders/ trainers from five European countries (Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, and Estonia) to combat social exclusion and discrimination. It will provide hands- on training in art-based non-formal education methods, such as Living Library, PhotoVoice, and Forum Theatre, during a 7-day intensive training in Hârșova, Romania.

The goal is for participants to gain practical skills, confidence, and a toolbox of creative methods to foster inclusion within their local communities, particularly among marginalized youth.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

  • developing a comprehensive understanding on the role of art in working with disadvantaged youth ability to accurately define and explain key concepts such as inclusion,discrimination, social cohesion and artistic-based non-formal methods.
  • an increased sense of confidence in their ability to use art as a tool for inclusion and to work with disadvantaged youth, measured through pre- and post-project self- assessment surveys.

  • practical training on non-formal methods, including Living Library, PhotoVoice, and Forum Theatre, to empower youth workers with creative facilitation tools.
