We are looking for individuals, small teams or collectives who are developing — or are ready to develop — projects in rural areas, such as creative hubs, cultural spaces, coworking or coliving initiatives, hybrid farms, youth programmes, social enterprises, training centres, and other community-driven rural regeneration projects.

We're empowering the new rural innovators
Welcome to the Rural Activators Pilot Academy, from the Architecto-Nemata Erasmus+ International project!
This is a pioneer initiative designed to support 30+ upcoming rural innovators across Europe to activate their territories by regenerating unused or abandoned spaces, to develop social innovation inside them, and inspire others to do the same.
We're currently on the lookout for 10 upcoming rural activators in Spain | Portugal | Italy that wish to embody rural regeneration excellence – who aim to bring creative approaches to revitalizing rural spaces and communities.
Important: You won't just learn. You'll take the first steps, bringing your ideas to life, and start your own network of inspiring and established cases.
As a participant in the program, besides accessing a pioneer training, you will discover many inspiring case studies: their work, their journey, their entrepreneurial stories – so you can
model your own strategies on what they've built. You'll also have the opportunity to be in contact with the protagonists of success cases, so you can ask your relevant questions and explore their recipes for rural activation.

Developed within the international KA210-ADU Erasmus+ Architecto-Nemata project, is currently launching an open call for participants in Portugal, Spain and Italy.
The Academy offers:
- online training and mentoring;
- peer learning and access to inspiring case studies;
- two in-person national events in each participating country;
- networking opportunities with rural innovators and stakeholders across Europe;
- visibility for selected projects through dissemination materials and communication activities.

Yes. 50€ covering 23 weeks of online training and 2 in-person events
We do NOT provide accomodation (there are only 2 in-person events of 1 day each) .
We do NOT cover the costs for food, except for coffee breaks.
No. There are 2 in-person events in each country + 23 weeks of online training + 4 days of International Masterclass in Italy (diffused online). Travel expenses are NOT covered
