‘Ahimsa: Stories of Non-Violence’—an immersive, Erasmus+-funded creative training in Solsona (Nov 7–14, 2025). Youth workers (28) from seven countries co-create peace-stories, connect cultures, and promote non-violent communication."

"Ahimsa: Stories of Non-Violence" is a 7-day Erasmus+ training course in Solsona, Spain (7–14 November 2025), gathering 28 youth workers from seven European countries.
Through storytelling, theatre, visual arts, and non-formal education methods, participants will explore non-violence as a personal and social practice. The programme includes experiential workshops, intercultural exchanges, and collaborative creation of artistic outputs that promote peaceful conflict transformation.
This training offers space to share experiences, develop creative facilitation skills, and strengthen international cooperation in youth work. By the end, participants will have co-produced stories and resources to inspire non-violent communication in their local communities and beyond.

Objectives:

  • Deepen understanding of non-violence in youth work and daily life.
  • Develop creative storytelling skills to promote peace and intercultural dialogue.
  • Equip participants with tools for conflict transformation and non-violent communication.
  • Foster international cooperation and exchange of good practices.
  • Create artistic outputs to inspire action in local communities.

Target Group:

  • Youth workers, educators, trainers, social workers, artists, and community leaders
  • Journalists or media practitioners interested in conflict-sensitive storytelling or amplifying underrepresented voices
  • People active in non-formal education, youth engagement, or social change
  • Individuals working with marginalized communities, such as Roma youth, migrants, or those in conflict-affected areas
  • Able to communicate in English and fully participate in the training

Looking for participants from: Spain, Poland, Albania, Cyprus, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine.

Accommodation: In a rural country house with shared rooms (2-4 people per room)

Food (3 meals per day + coffee break)
