Active Solidarity Training

Training Course

28-30 April 2026 | Chata Doubravka, Horní Sokolovec 8, Czech Republic

Active Solidarity Training is a 3-day international experiential training that invites participants to slow down, reflect, and connect personal experience with wider social realities. We will explore question of living together in diverse societies.

What does solidarity actually mean in everyday life? How do current events, inequalities, and power relations affect us personally? And what can active solidarity look like beyond theory or slogans?

Active Solidarity Training is a 3-day international experiential training that invites participants to slow down, reflect, and connect personal experience with wider social realities. The training offers space to explore questions of equality, human rights, responsibility, and living together in diverse societies.

Rather than providing ready-made answers, the programme guides participants through a learning journey – from personal awareness and inner reflection, through relationships with others, towards considering how we relate to society and civic life.

What the training offers

  • space to reflect on how social and political realities affect you personally
  • experiential and reflective learning methods
  • exploration of solidarity, equality, and human rights in a European context
  • dialogue, storytelling, and shared learning in an international group
  • inspiration to think about your own role and possible forms of engagement

How we work

The training follows an IN–OUT learning process. The programme combines experiential activities, guided reflection, creative methods, and peer exchange, with strong attention to safety, inclusion, and respect for different perspectives.

  • starting from individual experience and awareness
  • moving through interpersonal relationships and group dynamics
  • opening questions about society, justice, and participation
