This Training Course aims to gather youth works and develop their competences and skills on inclusion of different minorities in their communities, as well understanding their realities through promotion of active citizenship.
This Training Course aims to gather youth works and develop their competences and skills on inclusion of different minorities in their communities, as well understanding their realities through promotion of active citizenship. It aims to build multipliers for working with minority youth and engaging them in European citizenship processes. The project is 9 day training course on the topics of European Citizenship and Migration and will gather 34 participants from 17 different countries (Macedonia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Romania, Russia, Albania,Bulgaria,Croatia,Estonia,Greece,Italy,Moldova,Netherlands, Serbia,Turkey, UK and Ukraine) The concrete project objectives are: • To explore the meaning, relevance and implications of European Citizenship in youth work in all its dimensions; • To discuss the reality and problems youngsters form migrant and minority background face in today’s Europe • To discover the potential of European citizenship for building inclusive society particularly towards ethnical minorities and young migrants; • To experiment and explore the potential of European Citizenship for active democratic change in society • To promote and facilitate the active use of Youth in Action programme and structures in support of youth work on European Citizenship; The project will produce a blog and publication as an outcome and tool to further promote European Citizenship.

Association Streets Festival (Youth NGO)

Association Streets festival is an association of young people-volunteers that organizes a summer festival with an aim to make connection among different cultures on non-formal way, by promoting cultural exchange, non-discrimination and peace. Using the music and animation as tool we would like to connect the young people from different ethnicities in Kumanovo and Macedonia. Our aim is to bring together people from all around Europe, and provide them with space for fun and friendship without discrimination, with a possibility for expression and acceptance of all the different cultures.

Costs

Please do not do any reservation of tickets before you get a confirmation of participation for the training course. 70% of travel costs will be reimbursed only for the cheapest way of transport. The travel cost will be reimbursed, after submitting all original tickets and recipes. Only participants who fully 100 % attend the training course will be reimbursed. All participants will be reimbursed after submitting all original tickets and receipts. The travel reimbursement will not be done on the spot, but after the return of the participants to their homes and after they send the original tickets to the hosting organization.(additional information about reimbursement within the info sheet) The participants should use the cheapest way of transport (Bus, Train, plane-economic class). Please note that there are cheaper flights to Sofia-Bulgaria, Belgrade-Serbia, Thessaloniki-Greece from where you can get a bus/train to Macedonia. Board and lodging are provided and paid for by the organizers; Participation fee: NONE!
