1 June - 5 August 2019 | Warsaw, Poland

A practical long-term workshop of leadership, animation and performance arts, and study-visit to International Vikings and Slavs Festival in a role of Performance Artist.

Do you want to know, How to be a leader, How to motivate people and how to make them change their lives? Want to meet people from New Zealand or Iceland and teach them what you know? Want to be the Performance Artist and treat people as your audience? Then this is for you: practical long-term workshop and study-visit to International Vikings and Slavs Festival in a role of Performance Artist.

 

Why this training-course?

You get the knowledge of leading people, building a group, and reaching the goals together.

You meet people from different countries and practice your languages: Polish, English and even Russian.

You learn different traditional cultures and the ways the cultures shape the modern society.

You develop your musical and rhythmic skills via dance exercises.

You visit the Biggest International Early-Medieval Viking and Slavs Festival in Wolin, Poland and practice all acquired knowledge in real life.

You enforce your self-confidence via practical training and professional coaching and ensure the results in individual practice.

You get the practice in People Management, Event Organizing and Logistics.

 

Within this course: 

Participants from Belarus, Poland, Germany and Lithuania come to Warsaw weekly between June 1 and July 30 to learn the art of Animation, to learn Traditional Dances of Eastern Europe and learn how to make a theatre costume for the event.

At least four sessions must be attended by each participant in order to be well-prepared. The duration of training sessions are about 4 hours each. Precise timetable will be developed to fit to the majourity of TC participant's schedules.

For some emergency justified casses, by the participants requests, we may organise a full-day workshops to allow you to learn more in fewer amount of sessions in order to save your time and efforts. Those cases should be requested and 

When the education is done, the costumes are ready and the set of dances are learned, and participants are prepared to be an artists, the group go to International Slavs and Vikings Festival "Wolin" to present the dance performances on Aug 1...3, 2019.

Costs

Participation fee

The Participants fee is Eur 40.

The Fee is neededneed to cover the travel costs of participants (From Warsaw to Wolin and back), the board and lodging during the final event, to cover the insurance costs, any emergency costs etc.  

Accommodation and food

At the first phase of the project (practical workshops) no food and accommodation are covered. 

At the second phase of the project (presentation of the results at the final event) the accommodation is organised in big shared rooms. the food is covered by participant's fees.

Travel reimbursement

Not provided. 

But if your organisation can find a sponsor and you can be responsible for that - then please, do.
