Training Course
19-26 November 2026 | Pinos Genil (Granada), Spain
About the Training Course
What if creating a truly inclusive environment was less about complex theories and more about practical, everyday actions?
Action for Inclusion is a training course focused on providing you with new strategies and resources to improve inclusiveness in youth work. Throughout the week, participants will explore the different variables that can become hidden barriers to participation and, most importantly, discover how to dismantle them.
The main goal is not just to talk about diversity. It is to discover how to actively build safe spaces, support mental health and manage sensitive realities within our communities. The training will give participants the opportunity to practice these strategies and develop the confidence to address discrimination and incorporate inclusive tools directly into their own educational and youth work activities.
What will you get from the Training?
You will have the chance to:
- Deepen your understanding of what really means to be inclusive in our daily lives.
- Acquire practical resources to design and implement inclusive strategies in your working environment.
- Create safe spaces with a transversal perspective of the people you’re working with.
- Manage sensitive topics confidently within your organisations and communities.
- Develop the trust and competences needed to identify and address the discrimination towards different groups.
- Face the challenges related with mental health and other obstacles against inclusion in your youth work practices.
- Create new international connections and opportunities for cooperation
Two experienced facilitators
The training will be delivered by Víctor Paterna and Santiago Gallego, two experienced trainers and workers from the NGO sector. They work together in Las Niñas del Tul organisation, bringing into the table experience in working with volunteers at a local and international level and with vulnerable people, including those who were in an emergency situation.
