Our TC “Action For Green footsteps” is strongly connected to Erasmus + main objectives and priorities. We are giving new knowledge and experience to youth workers and all participants to act on environmental challenges. Furthermore, our project is directly connected to the European Green initiative and its objectives as well:
1. Promote nonformal and informal learning mobility and active participation among young people, as well as cooperation, inclusion, creativity, and innovation at the level of organizations and policies in the field of youths.
2. Create systemic change through fostering innovation at both practice and policy-level.
3. Design an environmentally friendly approach, which will encourage everyone involved in the project to discuss and learn about environmental issues, reflect on what can be done at different levels, and help organizations and participants come up with an alternative, greener ways of implementing project activities.
During the training course, participants will discuss environmental and ecological problems, which are particularly acute in their country. Each partner country will prepare before the training course a verbal presentation about their local realities and share best practices for the solution of these problems in their communities. This will help partners to share experiences with each other, and knowledge that might be different from their national realities.
Our project deals with the priority issues as well as needs that are the special direction of Erasmus+: 1. Youth inclusion and participation 2. climate actions and youth engagement 3. Ecology and sustainable development 4. awareness-raising etc.
Our project is related to solving various challenges, which has a positive impact on the actions of countries and young people:
1. The project will connect the EAP countries with the EU member states, which will create prospects and opportunities for cooperation between them.
2. TC will Promote and organize World Cleanup and Digital Cleanup Day in the relevant community.
3. By sharing best practices, participating organizations and social workers will learn about innovative ways to solve problems, which will allow them to improve existing infrastructure in their communities.
4. Engages young people in environmental programs through non-formal education through innovative and useful workshops and activities.
5. To Empower NEET youngsters, young women, and fewer opportunity youth.
The host and partner organisations are very experienced and strong NGOs in the field of environmental education and awareness, who have a large team with expert knowledge directly related to the objectives of our project. Host organisation Let’s Do It Georgia has been working in the field of youth since 2016 on various topics such as environmental protection, climate change, waste management, healthy lifestyle and etc. We deeply believe that the above-mentioned knowledge, experience, and expertise of the applicant and the host organization are enough to satisfy every aspect of the project for future success.
The main target group of our project is 24+2 youth workers from 8 EU and EAP countries, Their ages will be 18+.The Gender balance will be preserved entirely - 50% women and 50% men. Our target youth workers have the motivation and special enthusiasm to learn and engage to the environmental issues, to participate in innovative educational projects based on new approaches and tools that will help participants raise their voices on important issues, find or create their own jobs and build bridges between community members with fewer opportunities, develop various interpersonal and organisational skills, increase expert knowledge, etc.
Participants will learn specific methodologies, activities, workshops, that can be used working on the topic of ecology, In the training course, various innovative methodologies and activities will be used, so that participants will be able to learn these methodologies, activities, in order to put in use acquired knowledge and experience in their future work, finally to address these problems in their communities. Participants will be involved in different thematic games and performances; these activities will help them to understand what kind of problems their country facing, they will gain Sustainable habits, change attitude towards environmental behavior . On a practical level participants will improve their competences to plan and run projects or activities which involves young people with different backgrounds. Project will be facilitated by proficient English speakers, that will allow participants to improve their foreign language, in this case it is English language.
Training course will consist of group works and presentations afterwards, thus participants will have opportunity to obtain competences in making and conducting the presentations, additionally skills of the public speaking will be acquired by them. During the project participants, will teach each other some useful words or small sentences of their native language, which will create a learning atmosphere where everyone can share and gain knowledge of the new foreign language.
Bakuriani is a small village in beautiful area surrounded by forest and mountains, reason behind choosing this cozy venue is that participants will feel relaxed to focused on learning. Host organization will be fully responsible for the logistics and communication with hotel and local authorities in order to prepare everything for implementation of the training course.

Let's do it Georgia (Youth NGO)
Let’s Do It Georgia is a green organization, which has been active in environmental projects since 2016. Our organization is a member of international organization Let’s Do It World, which tackles environmental and social problems related to illegally dumped solid waste by mobilizing millions of positive-minded, action-orientated people and using innovative technological solutions to deal with waste issues in over 150 countries around the world. In just seven years, Let’s Do It! has motivated over 16 million people worldwide to join together and clean up their countries.
However, Let’s Do It Georgia has never been only about cleaning up waste. Today, we are continuing our work towards a waste free world following the Keep It Clean Plan. Based on the Sustainable Development Goals, and embedding Zero Waste practices our focuses are: Education for sustainable development: using non-formal methods to educate youth about sustainability and environmentally friendly lifestyle (learning by doing approaches); Awareness raising through massive civic actions (e.g, waste mapping, campaigns, cleanups).
