Are you thinking of applying for solidarity projects and the new European Solidarity Corps Programme 2021-2027? Are you willing to exchange ideas and to act locally and change the world? Then, this course is definitely for you!

The main aim of the course is to train and provide the participants with all required information about European Solidarity Corps and more specifically about Solidarity Proejcts, in order to be able to design and build quality Solidarity Projects.

This activity will be an online training course that will take place on HOP Online Learning Platform composed of about 6 sessions (units) about Solidarity Projects. The activity will be supported by 5 ZOOM meetings, 3 days of coaching and questions for those who need it and 1 informal evening that will be done synchronously, based on non-formal education.

Objectives

  • to provide an informed introduction to the European Solidarity Corps, focusing on Solidarity Projects and their capacity to enhance active local citizenship, especially for newcomers to the programme.
  • to offer an individual and group learning experience through a simulated process on setting up a Solidarity project.
  • to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to organise a Solidarity Project, based on non-formal learning practice, principles, and the quality standards of the ESC programme.
  • to enable participants to reflect on their learning and to familiarise themselves with Youthpass – the strategy on the recognition of non-formal learning in the youth field, its technical tool to produce Youthpass Certificates, and its application in Solidarity Projects.
