A Poem Called 2026: Visions for a Brighter Future

E-learning

9 January 2026 | Italy

A one-hour online workshop to slow down, breathe and creatively envision 2026. Through mindfulness and poetry, you will shape your intentions for the year ahead.

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” — Mary Oliver

A Poem Called 2026: Visions for a Brighter Future is a poetic, reflective online workshop open to youth workers, coaches, mentors, young people and anyone interested in exploring how to set creative intentions for the year ahead.

As a follow-up to the Erasmus+ project The Poetic Way to Live in the World, this session offers a calm space to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters—your values, dreams and hopes for the year to come.

Through short mindfulness practices and powerful coaching-inspired questions, participants will be guided into a deep creative reflection to envision and shape their intentions for 2026 through poetry.

Participants are invited to bring simple creative materials (paper, old magazines, colours, glue, scissors) and an image they feel connected to (digital or printed), and to use them as a doorway into imagination and visioning. This envisioning is not meant to be a fixed plan, but an unfolding, heartfelt poem.

The workshop follows a non-formal, experiential approach, combining individual writing moments and optional sharing in a safe, respectful and non-judgmental space. No previous experience with poetry, mindfulness or coaching is required.

The session is facilitated by Sara Marzo and Eleni Kardamitsi, both trainers and coaches with 15 years’ experience in youth work.

Sara Marzo — trainer, ecosomatic coach and mindfulness facilitator; founder of VulcanicaMente NGO.

Eleni Kardamitsi — trainer, coach and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator; founder of Hellenic Youth Participation NGO.
